Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate
Eligibility
- Have total Australian wages below the NSW Government 2021 payroll tax threshold of $1.2M
- Have an ABN registered in NSW or business premises physically located and operating in NSW

Payment Amount
- The maximum $2,000 rebate will be increased to $3,000 in late March
- You can submit multiple claims until the value of $3000 us reached
- Employing businesses will be able to claim half of the costs for Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs)
- Only one $3000 rebate per ABN

Jobs Plus Program
Eligibility
- Must start hiring before 31 December 2022 and all staff must also live and be paid in NSW
- At least 30 new staff full-time equivalent staff must be hired and onboarded by 30 June 2021

- Payroll tax relief for up to 4 years once business has employed 30 new full time equivalent staff

Export Assistance Grant
Eligibility
- Must be based in NSW
- Have a registered ABN and be registered for GST as at 1 August 2019
- Currently exporting, or were exporting prior to impacts of COVID-19, bushfires and drought
- Employ a minimum of 3 full-time equivalent staff at the time of application
- Own the goods/services to be exported
- Have an annual turnover of up to $100M. If greater than this sum, you must demonstrate export turnover has declined by more than 30% in the 2020 financial year
Benefits
- Receive a grant of up to $10,000 for export assistance
- This grant will be provided as reimbursement of 50% of eligible expense already paid since 1 January 2020.
