02 9683 5999As previously announced in the 2010 budget, from 1 July 2012 the rebate on private health insurance will be income tested against three tiered thresholds.
There will also be an increase in the Medicare Levy Surcharge for higher income earners who do not have private hospital insurance. The income thresholds for the year ending 30 June 2013 for singles and families are as follows:
