SUPERANNUATION FOR SAME-SEX COUPLES

Recent changes to the law now means that same sex couples can have their relationship recognised by the superannuation fund in respect of death benefits, death benefit termination payments and spouse contributions. These changes also apply to the treatment of children from same-sex couples.
