WARNING ON PRICE INCREASES DUE TO CARBON TAX

The ACCC had issued a publication to assist businesses on their rights and obligations in respect of price rises due to the impending carbon tax called Carbon Price Claims – A Guide for Business. The ACCC warns business against incorrectly attributing large price rises to the carbon tax. The guide can be found at www.accc.gov.au
